Cala del Aceite, Conil de la Frontera

Cala del Aceite is the largest of the Calas de Conil

Steep cliffs and sandy coves
The coast to the northwest of Conil de la Frontera, between Playa Fuente del Gallo and urbanización Roche, is still largely unspoilt. The area is characterized by impressive cliffs, pine forests and beautiful views. Hidden between the steep cliffs are several small coves (calas) with fine sandy beaches. Cala del Aceite, located just before the fishing port of Conil, is the largest of the Calas de Conil and easily accessible via a staircase. The smaller coves are a bit harder to reach and require a little climbing sometimes.
